Occupation: Dex is a high school student. For seven hours of the day. When not in school, however, he works at one of the popular male attire stores as a cashier. It's quite hard for him to work here though, because of the constant fights that seem to break out in front of it. These are started by the deadly duo, Izaya Orihara and Shizuo Heiwajima. New to Ikebukuro, he tries to get used to this, but has considered the idea of quitting several times.

Gang (optional): Dexter is a part of the Dollars. After eavesdropping on of his classmates one day, he asked about what exactly the Dollars was. Being told about the color and the initial start of the Dollars, the young boy decided he wanted to join as well. His frequently on the website and stages under the name 'Shinpi' (meaning priest or mystery).

Physical Appearance: Dexter has pale, smooth skin. He's well built and toned with plenty of muscle. Still growing, his chin is sharp and pointed. The jawline of his face is set and makes seem rather mature. He has a small, pointed nose. His baggy clothes hides this aspect of himself. His eyes are a bright, apple tart green. His hair is dirty blonde, tousled, and ends at the base of of his neck. His eyebrows are a bit furry, but do not resemble a ferret. He stands at six feet, two inches. He always wears his black framed glasses.

Hair color/style: His hair is a dirty blonde and he leaves it tousled. His bangs are pushed aside, sometimes covering his right eye.

Height: 6.2 ft

Clothes: At school, he wears the standard Raira uniform, excluding the jacket. Instead he wears a Raira blue sweater with hoodie and pockets. He always wears his black tie and white, short sleeved flannel shirt underneath. He uses a black messenger bag to hold his books, papers, etc. His shoes are leather black and kept in good condition. During his job, Dexter a gray, form fitting shirt and black pants. On his shirt is his name tag, as well as a button that says 'Shoot Mee'. For foot wear, he chooses black and green low-tops, with neon green socks.

What brings them to Ikebukuro: Dexter, originally from a small town in America, took an interest in the world of Japan. He has an unusual obsession with the culture itself and asked his parents if he could go off to train. Afraid of being effected by their son's state, they agreed and sent Dexter to the other side of the globe. He now lives in Ikebukuro with his older friend, Ray Harrison(25), who agreed to go with him and now acts as his legal guardian.

Personality: He's an eccentric character and vividly expresses his opinion on things. People often believe that he's on a sugar rush. Even though he's hyper, he never fails to make friends. He's very social and likes to talk all. Of. The. Time. His peers enjoy his odd mannerisms and sudden/uncontrollable outbursts. Dexter likes to tinker with objects; this can vary from cellphones to chairs. He isn't one to become angry. He tries to maintain a happy attitude towards everyone, no matter what they do. Dex is self-conscious of his appearance and holds a great value as to what others think of him. Especially around women.

History: Dexter was born into a foster family who were absolutely terrified of him simply because of his tastes and behavior. He was always hyper and happy and never complained. School work wasn't trouble for him, but he didn't show an interest in learning.
He first learned about Japan from his friend Ray at the age of 13. He became fascinated with the culture that the Japanese lived in. Dexter's heart was set on moving to the country one day so that he too could receive the same experience. After pleading with his parents fro over three years, they finally gave him the money to make the trip. Dexter and Ray plan to stay in Ikebukuro for the next few years and most likely move somewhere else in the country.
