| Trigger (n): An object or situation that can cause your phobia symptoms to appear. Note: It is not something that mildly offends someone or makes them irritated. It is a very serious problem associated with phobias, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorders. It should not be confused with general anxiety or irritation. These topics should be avoided, especially when in the CB. No one likes to be having a conversation and then suddenly have someone else mention something that will trigger them into an anxiety attack. The topics listed below have been mentioned at some point int he CB and have been known to cause anxiety for other members. It should be obvious that some of these topics should always be avoided unless in very serious and adult conversation. They should not be mentioned lightly. Topics in red mean they should be avoided entirely. Topics in orange are known to cause stress to some members (names will be listed) and should be avoided unless said otherwise. If you do not know what some of these topics are, or do not know the extent of the anxiety caused by them, please PM an admin for clarification. - Rape
- Self Harm
- Suicide
- Death
- Depression
- Abuse/Neglect/Abandonment
- Pop-up horror images
- Cannibalism
- Mental Illness(this includes naming your own)
- Weight
- Eating Disorders (Seliphra)
- Insanity/Asylums (Alois, Mekena, Kida)
- Vomit (Psyche)
- Replacement (Tsugaru, Kida, Acromatic)
- Gore (Psyche, Asha, Dr.randomllama, Roppi, Tsugaru, Acromatic)
- Homestuck (Roppi)
- Slenderman (Roppi. Hibi-chan, Kida, Kururi, Shizuo)
- Food's other culters might find disturbing/sickening(Psyche, Seliphra)
- Paranormal (Kida, Hotaru)
- Hetalia (Kida)
- Talk of having piercings ripped out(Seliphra)
- Babies/Pregnancy(Tsugaru)
We should note too that if you would like your triggers added or you names added to any of the orange topics please PM an admin and we will modify the list immediately. If the item you want added to the list is already against the rules it will not be added to the list because people aren't allowed to behave that way anyways.

| This post contains the code yellow topics, topics that you should be aware may cause consternation or offend others if you choose to speak about them. They are topics better taken to the chat section of the board and should probably be avoided in the chatbox.
- Personal Fetishes Yes, we all have our own but some peoples are more extreme than others and not everyone is in the right age group for these to be discussed and not everyone wants to hear them
- Language Yes, swearing IS allowed, but try to keep it minimal! No one needs to read a curse word every other sentance and it does make some uncomfortable, remember we are NOT all adults on this site!
- Disallowing/Disregarding others opinions Everyone is entiled to an opinion and this applies to the whole board. You can not tell other people they are wrong/there opinion doesn't matter if the issue in question is not black and white(and most issues aren't!). Everyone gets their own opinion and thoughts, respect that please. THAT BEING SAID if someone expresses a particular interest and you don't share it do not tell them their interest is 'Gay', 'stupid', 'dumb' etc. If you don't like that interest fine, but do not be abusive because someone else does.
- Height Yep, downgraded from orange. It isn't an anxiety trigger but nothing irritates someone who is 5'2-4" and DONE growing than hearing people who are 5'5" and not even at their growth spurt yet complaining about how short they are. Some of us are done growing, some of us are not.
- Being negative about others Try not to be negative or say things about people behind their backs, remember, it does hurt especially if they find out about it later, and it is a mean thing to do. We remember everytime to be always nice, but try to keep it in mind.
If you want topics that are not triggers for anxiety but just really offend or irritate you then please PM an Admin and it will be added to the list.
