Physical Appearance: Rei's  stands at 5'5'' and weights 150 pounds. She had black semi-curly hair that comes down to the middle of her back which she sometimes wear in a bun, ponytail, or down. Her face is rounded and her hazel eyes which are always lined with black eyeliner and blue eye shadow are half almond shaped. Her lips are full and her body is curvy (she has what most people would call a "real woman's" body which means she's not skinny nor is she fat). This young woman also sports some tattoos. She has a small pentagram on the inside of her left wrist, a white rose on her hip, and a traditional Japanese Tiger that's surrounded by lilies on her back.

For clothing, she's more of a casual dresser but will dress up for special occasions (i.e. Kimono for important winter festivals and Yukata for important summer festivals). Her casual clothing consists of jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, shorts, capri pants, boots, sandals, sweaters both heavy and light, and sometimes a leather jacket. All of what she wears is according to the different seasons. Rei feels more comfortable when she's dressed casually.

Personality: Rei's outgoing, kind, gentle, and friendly even though she can be a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people. But when she gets to know them then she opens up and acts like she's been knowing them for years. Her friendly disposition makes her easy to get along with and her kindness makes everybody feel at ease.

Rei only fights or lashes out when her buttons are pushed or someone backs her into a corner and physically attacks her. She's a leader or a follower depending on the situation. She shows love to people close to her by helping them or buying small gifts that she thinks they would like.

Background: Rei was born in America to a African-American mother and a Japanese father. Of course in the states, she wasn't bullied too much by kids because due to America's "Everyone is welcome" attitude, she was able to make friends. The first time she was teased, she ended up going home in tears. Bith parents told her that she was special and that her mixture shouldn't be important, and only how she treats others is.

Because her father is a well respected business man, Rei's father was gone most of the time making deals with companies which meant that he was traveling in and out of the country. He slowed down after Rei was born and just took a desk job, but when Rei became older he picked up his traveling again. It started to take a strain on Rei's mom and their marriage.

When Rei was ten, her parents got a divorce. Rei's dad had accepted an offer to return to Japan to work a permanent position and there was an agreement that the ten year old would live with her father. So packing up, she moved to Japan and Ikebukuro into a house in one of the near by districts. She's fluent in both Japanese and English.

Naturally she was teased by some of the children at the school she went to. They called her "Gaijin" which meant foreigner in Japanese. At first it made her sad and depressed but her dad told her to try and ignore what the kids were saying. Some of the bullying lightened up by high school where she made friends who didn't care that she was half Japanese. She graduated high school at the top of her class.

Current occupation: Works at a maid cafe to earn money and to help pay her share of the rent for the apartment that her dad got for her.

Sample Role Play: Rei sat the tea and steak down in front of the customer she was serving and gave a warm smile. "Would you like anything else sir?"

"No thank you."

She walked away but before she could go back to the back, a man about her age grabbed her wrist which made her stop. Looking down she saw that he had a cocky grin on his face and a yellow scarf tied around his neck.

"Hey sweetheart, how about you get me some coffee and a couple orders of crepes."

Rei wrenched her wrist out from the man's grip. "Yes sir." sje replied through gritted teeth. She hated these types of customers. She walked back to the back and put the order in.

While the crepes were being made, Shizuo came in. He was wanting a snack and something to drink. He spotted Rei coming from the kitchen with a tray laden with food and drink. He sat down at a booth and waited for her. He watched her serve the cocky man.

"Thanks babe. Say, how about you give me your number?"

"Um, no." said Rei sitting his food down.

"I'm with the Yellow Scarves. You can use someone like me."

Rei rolled her eyes and began to walk away when the gang member grabbed her wrist again.

"Nobody says no to me." he narrowed his eyes.

Before Rei could defend herself, Shizuo appeared behind her.

"She said leave her alone." the blonde man looked down at the gang member.

"Pfft, back off bartender. I'm busy."

Rei looked up at the fake bartender and smiled. "I can handle him but I'll let you do it. I don't want to get my uniform dirty."

The strong man grabbed the Yellow Scarf member by his collar when he continued to harass Rei. In Shizuo fashion, he tossed the man clear across the cafe and out the door. Following outside, he looked down at the member. "Don't let me catch you in here again."

The member looked up in horror and scrambled to his feet, running away.

Shizuo went back inside where Rei was still waiting for him. He sat down casually in the booth he was at before.

"Welcome home Master, what would you like?" said Rei handing him a menu smiling.

Other: Friends with Shizuo, Kida Masaomi, Celty, and Shinra. Has a black belt in karate.
