So you want to be a moderator? Well first, we need to know a few things about you. The best way to know if you can handle being a mod is to see what type of person you are, and if you're ready to handle the responsibilities of being a mod. Simply take the form below and answer each section as best as you can. Details are always a good thing to have. Once you finish, send it to an admin to check over. We will message you back as soon as possible (within 3-4 days) with the answer. - Spoiler:
Basic questions to get to know you!
1. What is your name or what would you like us to call you? 2. How old are you (please be honest)? 3. How long have you been a member on this site? 4. How often are you online? 5. How long have you been roleplaying? 6. Have you ever been a mod before or do you have any previous experience? If yes, on which sites and for how long? 7. Do you have a Skype, email, or some way that you would feel comfortable with us (the staff) contacting you other than through PMs or on the CB on the site?
Next are a couple of personal questions. Please answer them as honestly as you can.
8. Why do you want to be a moderator on the site? 9. What qualities do you have that would make you a good moderator? 10. If you were to become a moderator, which forum (Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Character Submissions, etc) would you prefer to moderate? Why do you think you would be a good moderator for that forum?
Now for a couple of scenarios to make sure you're ready to become a mod.
11. What would you do if you see someone powerplaying? 12. How would you address someone who is playing out a canon character that is not their own? 13. A member is flaming/trolling another member. What do you do to alleviate the problem?
We apologize for the long questionnaire, but we want to be certain that we appoint mods that will benefit the site! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for offering to help out with the site! We appreciate your enthusiasm! -The Staff | |
