Bumping (Anju, Caiden)

Walking down the street it was a normal day. Well as normal as it could be from the point of view of Anju. She walked along at a steady pace, she tripped over someone's foot and she flew foreward onto her face practically but her hands saved her face from the impact. She looked up at the man. "Yo you!!!" She stood up pointing her finger at him."Watch your feet next time!"

Caiden looked over to the girl yelling at him, unimpressed. Pulling the lollipop out of his mouth he replied calmly, "You should look where you're walking. You're the one that ran into me after all."

Anju stared at the man. "Well if your feet weren't in the way then I wouldn't have tripped!!!!" She stood up brushing herself off and sighed and looked at her hands. "Great now my hands are bleeding..." She said and wiped her hands on her dark skirt.

Caiden looked at the girl astounded. She really thought it was his fault? The he noticed the blood. Sighing he grabbed her wrist and dragged her along with him. The flower shop was only a block away anyways.

"Wait?! What are you doing?" She looked around as she was dragged. "Wait where we going?" She looked around. She went silent and just walked.

"We need to treat your wounds," he replied stepping into the shop. "Sit down, I'll go get the first aid kit." Caiden walked over to the cashier table and rummaged through the drawers.

Anju sat and rolled her eyes. "Its not like I'm bleeding to death" In theory it hurt but she got these kinds of wounds when ever she fell off her bike. "And I'm used to Pain so it doesn't bother me."

Caiden pulled out the kit and collected the supplies he needed. He pulled out an antiseptic wipe, "this might sting a little." He started to clean the girl's hands off. After throwing the wipe away he started to bandage her hands.

Anju just sat there and bite her lip when she felt the sting. "Thanks..." She sighed when he started to bandage her hands. Its a really nice thing he's doing for me, Anju thought and just shook her head a little to make the thought go away.

Finally the bandaged was tied. Caiden put the excess bandage back into the kit, "Try to look where you're going next time." He looked over at her, "The name's Caiden by the way."

"Anju and I'll try." Shr rubbed her hands together and stood up. "I like your outfit." She said and looked around the place they were at.

"Oh uh, thanks," Caiden was a little speechless from the compliment. He grabbed his apron and watched as Anju looked around, "See anything you like? They are all pick fresh every morning."

"They are really pretty but I doubt I have enough they look like they cost a pretty amount." She said and looked at the flowers closely. Her eyes scanning every inch.

Caiden stared at Anju while she looked at the flowers. He noticed her eyes going back to one in particular. Caiden walked over to the flowers, grabbed one and made it presentable to her. After tying a yellow ribbon to it he held it out to her. "Here, you can have it."

"No I couldn't you have to make money off of them you can't just give them out to strangers nilly-willy like that!!" She said pulling out the black wallet from her pants pocket. "um...how much is it?" She asked as she started looking through her wallet for money.

Caiden pushed Anju's wallet down, "Relax, it's only one flower. Just take it, it's fine." He held the flower up closer to her.

She bowed and put her wallet back in her pocket and took the flower. "Thank you." She said and sniffed the flower. "You know its really pretty here...." She looked at the man and smiled lightly but then her face turned blank again.

"Yeah, it's nice and peaceful." Caiden noticed the flash of a smile before her face turned blank. "You know you look better when you smile." He headed back to the cashier table and took his seat in front of the cash register.

She felt odd now. Had he seen my smile, she thought her mind a jumbled mess. "Um...I guess its nice..." She said. "So...it is peaceful..."

Caiden grabbed a small spray bottle and squirted some of the plants on he counter. "Yeah, this is probably my favorite job." He watched as some small drops of water attached themselves to the petals while other dripped onto the counter.

"I better get home soon...So see you another time?" She said looking at the man. She didn't want to be rude and just walk out not saying she was leaving.

"Yeah, I'm sure we'll see each other again," Caiden nodded. He walked over and opened the door for her, "Get home safely."

"That's no problem I'll get home safely. I always do." She walked over to the door and stood in the doorway. "See ya around I guess." She turned on her heel quickly and smiled out at the people shuffling on the sidewalk.

Caiden watched as the girl walked out into the street, closing the door as her figure faded into the crowd. Sighing, he went back to work.
