Fate blinked before making an 'o' with her mouth.

"I thought you meant like a girl that was a friend..." She was a bit more shocked now.

Shawn blushed realizing that she JUST got it... Now he felt stupid...

"Fate, after we met you were a girl that is my friend but I-I'm saying I actually like you... Like really like you Fate."

She was surprised. Didn't Shawn only let her stay with him as a sort of experiment.

Shawn looked away as his blush intensified, why was admitting feelings so hard for a guy? It's not really, but it doesn't help that the person he's confessing to is a bit of a loose screw...

Fate frowned slightly, not satisfied with the answer, but nodded. "Okay... And sure, I'll think of you every now and then."

"What do you want me to say? This-this is the first time I've asked someone out... " Though he did it in a completely round-about way. But he was happy to hear that she would be considerate like that, and it made him smile a little.

"I do l-like you Fate... and I want to be with you now..."

So she says... but Shawn was still troubled by it now, and it showed that he was worried she might think he was joking and leave because this would be troublesome for her.

He'd like to leave her alone to think but someone that isn't a student can't wander around freely on campus so Shawn had to escort her everywhere. "If you don't like it you don't have to stay at the school but I'd still like you to be at home."

"No. I wanna stay. This place is interesting." She grinned and spun around.

"N-No I'm not! N-Not really, but it's fine..." He stammered out a failed reply to her. He really didn't want to chase her away with his feelings and that's what he felt he was doing. Shawn felt like he was forcing his feelings on Fate.

She blinked but just nodded.

"Alright... If ShawnShawn thinks so." She frowned a bit as she turned to explore some more now.

Something was really off with the male. And she knew it. However, she chose not to say anything about it.

"Alright then, let's look around and then eat~"

Shawn nodded to that, good he didn't waste his entire lunch not eating. He followed after Fate like a worried sheepdog and when she'd finally seen everything there was to see at this school Shawn was grateful to sit down.

He had to side track in order to get his lunch but then joined Fate once more to eat.

"I know but you might not be hungry right now.?" Shawn pointed out as he opened the container and gave some to Fate.

He ended up sharing more than he planned to but that was fine in a way since her appetite was kind of cute too.

Fate grinned as she ate. "This all taste good, ShawnShawn. You're a good cook." She smiled as he took another bite.

This wasn't the first time she's said that too, but Shawn smiled all the same.

When lunch ended Fate was asked to leave since she wasn't needed there anymore by the teacher and Shawn felt bad... "I promise I'll come straight home okay Fate?"

The teacher didn't mean to be rude, but she was half being subtle about it too. It was hard to imagine Fate's reaction, in Shawn's mind and he feared his girlfriend would be offended.

She ended up just shrugging though. "Alright. I've seen what I've wanted." Grinning, she waved good bye and skipped away, back towards Shawn's place.

Shawn felt bad that she had to leave already, but it was for the better because now he could fosuc on the class and they talked about the presentation of this final piece.

Shawn's day finally ended too and he headed to the park with music blaring into his ears and out of his headphones around him. He wondered if Fate waited for him in the park or back at the apartment since she didn't say before she left.

SHe was at the apartment, and hummed as she just spun around the place.

"Ah... Where is ShawnShawn? I'm so bored."

Shawn sighed... 'Guess she got into my apartment somehow.' He thought, unable to remember if he gave her a key or not. With that he headed home too, he'd cook when he got there and make her help.

The door to the apartment opened soon, by key, and Shawn called out. "Fate are you here?"

"Sorry, I didn't think you'd already be here." But he should have since he did invite Fate to live with him. Shawn did give her a key and they are dating.... At least in Shawn's mind.

He went to the kitchen to start cooking, though given how late it was getting having Fate help would slow things down.

Shawn thought she'd be bored without him there, at least it was a weird and small hope.

"Just instant noodles with chicken pieces and mixed vegetables." It wasn't fancy but it should be filling.
