Fate yawned again as she watched Shawn mix the batter. "I'm gonna cook the bacon. Where is it?" She looked around, thinking that Shawn had already gotten it out.

He hadn't.

"In the fridge, on the bottom right shelf before the veggie drawer." He would normally say plural but this fridge in this tiny Japanese apartment only has a small one and there is only one drawer in the bottom. It's rather shallow but he fits tomatoes and onions and carrots and leeks in it.

Soon he poured the batter on the frying pan to start making pancakes, cursing that he didn't have a waffle iron with him.

Fate nodded and grabbed the bacon before shutting the fridge. "YUm yum yum. Bacon." She quickly ripped open the packaging before setting a few slices onto the pan to cook.

"What do you want to drink? If you see something you like just grab a glass and pour yourself one," Shawn said as he flipped the pancakes and cooked them quickly. There was left over batter but for now three each should suffice, right? If not he could make more. He'd use the batter for something else though.

Fate laughed and nodded. "Alright alright. I'll do that. But first, cooking. Cooking the bacon."

Shawn laughed as he got out a drink for himself then and waited for the next batch of pancakes to cook. They seemed to have it timed right and the bacon was done by the time the third pancake was cooked and set on a plate.

He got out butter and syrup too before sitting at the small table waiting for Fate.

Fate got herself a cup of water as she sat at the table. "Mmm. Yum." She took about half the amount of bacon that was cooked for herself.

She looked up from her plate to Shawn. "Want some bacon too?" if not, she'd take it all.

Shawn blinked, of course he wanted bacon. He wasn't going to eat all these pancakes by himself after all.

"Yes please, and help yourself to pancakes Fate I made enough for both of us." He also assumed that much was obvious, but should have known better with her around. He reached over and stabbed a few pieces taking them.

Fate grinned and nodded before grabbing too pancakes. "IS there butter and syrup for these? I don't wanna eat them plain."

They were already on the table, and Shawn pushed them over to her since he had food in his mouth already.

After they both finished, Shawn made Fate help him wash the dishes and then grabbed his stuff, including Fate's new dress.

"Are you ready to come to my school?"

Fate grinned and nodded. "Yeah yeah yeah~ Let's go!" She pulled on her shoes before walking to the door. "Hurry up slow poke!" Of course, she didn't know the way herself.

"You don't know the way Fate," Shanw laughed as he pulled and tied his shoes on and then grabbed his bag along with the dress bag. It was all black so no one could see the contents.

Through the park, Shawn reminisced about the time when he met her and laughed since he nevere predicted he'd actually come to like her. When they left he looked back fondly of that moment and then turned to walk forward with her.

Around another two blocks and there it was. He walked calmly, but he grabbed her hand, "This is so you don't run off on me," That was part of the reason, but he was too embarrassed that he couldn't say the real reason.

Fate gave him a confused look. "Why would I run off? This is fun. You know what, I don't care." She grinned as she looked at the building. AH, she was excited.

"You could, and i think if something was interesting enough to you that you would run off." Into the building and up to his floor and the studio area.

"Okay, we're early, but that gives you a chance to change into this dress Fate." They weren't alone much longer when a few other students and models walked in.

He showed Fate a changing booth, "Let me know if you need help."

Fate rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah. I won't need help. I'm not a little kid." She walked into the booth and quickly changed before walking back out.

Shawn smirked then, now silently taking upon himself the challenge of making a dress that was tricky to get into.
"All right, how does it fit?"

He asked ignoring stares and comments from other students. He didn't even care if they were hurtful comments since he's a foreigner but he checked on the fit visually waiting for Fate's input.

"It fits fine. Actually, it fits perfectly~" She grinned. Ah, but when would they see the rest of the school? This was just boring right now.

Maybe, but Shawn only needed her to be a model... Well, maybe they could explore at lunch but for now Fate was stuck in this room.

The teacher walked in and spoke, by now all the other students have joined the room as well, and took turns talking about the dress they made until it came to Shawn's turn. They also had to explain why they chose the model they did, which the teacher looked at Shawn with scrutiny for picking an outsider.

"I made this dress for my girlfriend--who is also my model, and I plan to make more since I will have to try and keep her interested in me."

Fate blinked but didn't say anything. Girlfriend? Well, that was something new. Not that she was objecting. It meant fun. At least she thought so.

Shawn looked a little disappointed for a moment but shook his head laughing at himself. 'what I was expecting her to react like?' He should have known... Oh well, and now worked on fixing any little things he didn't like on the dress now that it was on her.

At lunch, Fate was allowed to change out of the dress and Shawn asked, "Anything you'd like to do?" He had a feeling it would be exploring so he would eat later.

How did he know? Shawn smirked as he shook his head guess he'd have to eat later, if he had to escort her around since she wasn't a student. Technically by that standard she shouldn't have been allowed into the grounds but Shawn was and he needed her to model.

"All right, you lead and I will follow....and make sure you don't get into trouble Fate."

Sighing, she started to wander around, really just to look at things. "This place is neat."

Shawn rolled his eyes.

"Any place you don't belong is neat and fun to you, Fate.... But can you promise me something? Can you think of me once in a while?" He said though he felt foolish and it was really a wild hope that she'd comply. Shawn really liked her and he'd like for her to be affectionate from time to time.

Fate blinked and turned to look at Shawn. "Think of you every once in a while?" That was strange. She put her hand to her chin, thinking about it.

"Alright. Fine. But why?"
