Miko Poems (Read if you dare)

My time is up,
I have not a second left.
My life gone without a trace,
I have not even a second left.

I stare at the slowly halting hands,
signalling my end.
Sure I should be done,
there was nothing left.

"Don't go!"
I hear the voice call.
Too late I said,
but my voice is lost.

Having nothing left,
having no thing left.
"Don't you wish you did more?"
I wish I had met you eariler.

The person turned back the hands of time,
and my clock has restarted.

A Broken Feather

Is my life what it is?
To soar free for such a long time.
Just to have a broken feather,
sending plummeling into the ground.

Is it fair?
To clip the wings of a flier.
To trap them in a cage,
of society and pain?

Why do you let a broken bird live?
When it really wants to die.
Without her wings,
there is no point of living.

One day a boy opened the door,
healed the broken feather with his magik.
His power let the bird soar once more,
but did the bird really have freedom?

The price is repaid,
the bird was the boy's friend.
everyone was happy,
till that one day.

"Give me your wings for I have healed them."
Procalimed the boy to the bird.
Away the wings are torn from the bird
and once again the bird fell to the ground.

The wings were given to a much older girl,
who has lost her way in life.
Now the girl has freedom,
and return shared the wings with the soul of the bird.
