Occupation: Full time college student - currently looking for a job. Preferably in a calm place, such as a library or bookstore. He’s not to good with facing people, and wouldn’t be good as a cashier or as a waiter.

Physical Appearance: Eli is a lanky young man, with no defined muscle mass on his body. He’s thin, but not underweight. He has freckles that are more prominent in the summer, and has a birthmark on his shoulder that looks similar to an arrow. His friend Brandon always said it's cause he's a Sagittarius. Eli always says that astrology is bullshit.He’s not one for exercising, and focuses on eating healthy to keep in shape. He counts calories and is a vegetarian.

Hair color/style: Sandy brown hair that is a bit too long for his tastes, but he can't afford a haircut at the moment and he doesn't want to try and cut it himself. It hangs slightly in his face and reaches to his jawline.

Clothes: Eli wear simple clothes, finding comfort more important than fashion. That doesn’t stop him from accessorizing though. He’s found wear t-shirts most of the time, with some sort of graphic design on it. He rarely wears a jacket unless it’s cold outside, which he wears a faux leather jacket with many zippers. He tends to wear skinny jeans - not too tight to be uncomfortable, but he doesn’t like the look of baggy jeans on him. He normally wears converse sneakers, and has multiple pairs with different colors. He sometimes wears a light scarf and reading glasses, but only when he’s dressing up a bit more. No matter what time of year, he wears a wool knit winter hat. He collects them and wears many different variations. He only takes it off during the summer when it gets too hot, but even then he doesn’t go out much.

What brings them to Ikebukuro?: He’s a transfer student to Nihon University in hoping to become more fluent in the Japanese language.

Personality: Quiet, cautious, meticulous, realistic and responsible. An INTJ personality type. He takes a logical approach to achieving goals and completing projects, and prefers to finish what he starts. His decisions are often analytical and detailed. He’s rarely impulsive in his decisions. He’s often described as trustworthy and dependable, and will often go out of his way to help others. He doesn’t like taking many risks, and coming to Japan was a huge risk for him. He’s not very religious, and focuses more on fact than faith. Lives by the motto "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

Family: His parents are living happily back in Vermont. His mother is a nurse at a local hospital, and his father is an accountant. They are supportive of his sexuality, and often tease him about his relationship: asking when they plan on having kids, or when they are going to get married. Obviously, that’s not possible for the couple, but they don’t mind.

Schooling: Graduated from Highschool with a GPA of 3.834. He attended a community college to gain a bachelors degree in accounting. He transferred and is now attending Nihon University in Japan.

Strengths: Extremely intelligent, especially in math and history, but not very street smart. He can remember multiple languages and what happened in the Trojan War, but cannot remember how to drive downtown without getting lost. He’s also not very current with trends, and often is a few months behind with pop culture. However, he doesn’t mind much. He’s also very compassionate and caring, and will often help others in need - which can sometimes get him into trouble.

Weaknesses: Despite his lack of direction and awkward inability to keep up to date, he’s very timid and shy. He’s open and fun loving around friends, but is very secluded and won’t talk to strangers. He is physically incapable of protecting himself, and will often flee rather than fight. He’s also allergic to peanuts. He suffers from chronic migraines and never gets enough sleep due to vivid nightmares. He’s also afraid of mice and will often scream like a girl when he sees them. He once passed out at the sight of a rat in his house.

Talents: He’s an oracle, although he isn’t aware of it yet. His vivid dreams and nightmares are glimpses into the past and future, but he brushes it off as de-ja-vu. His chronic migraines are symptoms of his supernatural powers, but once again he thinks it’s a physical problem. But his doctors say nothing is wrong and just prescribe medication he refuses to take due to the fact they gag him.

History: Eli was born in a small town in Vermont and lived their his whole life. He attended grade school and his first two semesters of college there. Growing up he was always a little odd. But he still had friends. However, in middle school, he gained a reputation for being “queer”. A lot of his friends abandoned him, deeming him “the odd one” in the town. However, his best friend - A gray eyed brunet named Brandon - became even closer. They never left each others side. Eli would often help Brandon with his homework in exchange for Brandon protecting him from people who wanted to pick on the lanky child. However, Eli’s sophomore year, he started to develop feelings for his childhood friend. He became more flustered around him, and asked a good friend of his to be his “girlfriend” in hopes of coming off as more straight. However, Brandon saw through that once he found Eli making out with a guy behind the school his senior year. That day, Brandon learned of Eli’s sexuality and treated him no differently. They actually grew closer together due to that and eventually Brandon told Eli that he was pansexual. The two tried dating, and have been a happy couple for the last two years. However, after they earned their bachelor degrees, Eli was invited to transfer to Tokyo. He was nervous at first, but Brandon urged him to go, saying it’d be a great experience. Now, Eli is in Ikebukuro, trying to live on his own for the first time (Brandon and Eli shared an apartment together in college), but his parents and boyfriend often send over some cash and gifts to help him out the best he can.
