Shawn frowned, but smirked soon after, "Fine you've earned that much."

He set his glass in the sink and turned to her, "It's Shawn."

"Guess you need some place to sleep huh," Thought Shawn didn't have much in terms of entertaining since his second bedroom was filled with fabrics and mannequins, "If we clear off the couch enough I'm sure you can fit. Just don't wreck anything please."

Fate feigned a look of hurt. "Me?! Wreck anything. Well, I give you that. As long as the temptation doesn't hit, I won't wreck a thing. Promise."

A promise that was never meant to be kept. Fate didn't actually know what a promise was. At least, she didn't know how to keep one.

Shawn frowned at that, but fetched her a blanket and pillow nonetheless. He made both of them.

"You'll have to deal with the lights on, good night Fate," He remembered her name despite how cruel she was and how much she teased him.

Shawn's door closed and the lights remained on, even if one light in the apartment was off he'd know, and he'd panic again. That could be bad or get really awkward for Fate.

Fate sighed when the door closed. Boring... And while it was true that Fate could sleep with lights on, she was bored, which meant that she wouldn't sleep until either something fun happened or she just collapsed from the lack of sleep.
"What to do... What to do..."

Fate grinned as she started looking around the apartment. A master electrical circuit for this one apartment had to be somewhere...

Fate laughed lightly to herself as she found it. "Let's see. All one. There's power in every room." Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip.

"And now there's no power in any room." Fate grinned as she made a mad dash towards the couch. Any moment now, there'd be more fun to have.

No power meant no lights. Gee she really is evil.

Shawn could be heard stumbling about his room and whimpering, desperate. His room didn't have good lighting from the outside, but the living room did. The living room that Fate was in.

"Light," Shawn got the door open, but he stumbled through the door. "YOU!! Why would you do that?!" His blame could only go to one person since he knew the building's power didn't go out, just his.

"You call giving someone a panic attack enthralling?!" He moved towards the living room, and her, as he felt his whole body shake.

Fate giggled. "Ah-ah-ah! You wanted to see how long it'd take me to be bored of a toy. I'm not bored yet. So, I'm not leaving. Not unless you force me. And calling the cops will do nothing, seeing as you told me I could stay." Fate shrugged. "Shoulda done that from the start."

"G-G-Get out!" Shawn was shaking everything was too dark but he could make out her figure and human contact would help his state.

Fate sighed and poked the boy once in the forehead. "Geez. I just wanted to see how you reacted. You need a full report of persons you stay with, otherwise they could slit your throat in your sleep. And that would just be horrible."

Fate sighed again before giggling a bit. "Stay." And without waiting for a confirmation, she wandered back towards the circuit breaker, flipping the power back on.

Shawn's eyes closed in the sudden light, and then tripped over some of his mess, "AH!"

Shawn fell flat on his face, tossing Sqear into the air, and it landed by Fate's feet.

We didn't own a tv or radio. No friends over anyway. AH, but friends. Those aren't toys now, aren't there."

Shawn frowned at the idea of not knowing how long one would have to be interesting for Fate to consider them a friend. Even then the notion of friend to her made Shawn curious; what did that mean? Did she tease them less?

His alarm woke him right at six, but he wondered if that was too early for the girl on his couch. One way to find out...
